You are here obviously to do more with your Meloenga, and we are here to help you learn some of the advanced tricks to create effective Call to Action buttons.
Using the button feature on the profile editor enables you to create advanced call to actions, such as sending an Email with a specific Subject message, whatsapp a message to a specific number, calling a number or sms’ing a message to a specific number.
You can do so by inserting specific encoded URLs in the URL field of the button feature. Below are examples of advanced call to action buttons:
Email with Subject
Click on “Add” then select “Button” from the drop-down menu. In the URL field of the pop-up window insert your encoded URL below. You should replace the word “email” with the email address and “Subject here” with your subject. In the text field, type what you would like your Call to Action Button to read. Then Click Done. mailto:email?subject=Subject here
Example: mailto:test@example.com?subject=Free Sample Your button is now ready to be tested. Click “Save” and “Publish”, click the button on the published profile and see how it will automatically compose an email with the predefined email and subject using your system (Mobile or Desktop) default email client.
WhatsApp Message to a specific number
Although you already have a whatsapp button on your contact details, but you might need more than just one number on your profile for your customers to be able to reach sales, support…
Add a button by clicking on “Add” then select “Button” from the drop-down menu.In the URL field of the pop-up window insert your encoded URL below. Replace “mobilenumber” with the number you would like your customers to contact. The number should be in the international format with no spaces. In the text field, type what you would like your Call to Action Button to read. Then Click Done.

Predefined message to a specific number via Whatsapp
You might want to add a predefined message to your whatsapp call to action button. To do so simply add ?text=YourMessage after the phone number. Check the example below.

Call a Number
In a similar fashion as the above examples, add a button then replace the URL with encoded URL example below. Always remember to insert your number in the international format without spaces.
